Hellsinker on a Stick
Had a run using a stick instead of a pad. Used Kagura -> Infernal Sabbath. After taking the time to adapt to the controls (I kept pressing the slow button to use subweapon for example), I had a decent run.Β
High points include:
Holding off the Shrine until Segme nt 5.
Getting 280 crystals in the Shrine. Nearly got all of my Spirits back (entered with about 4k, exited with around 3800).
Getting all the way to the Apostles of the Seed in Segment 6.
Mishaps include:
Accidentally picking 3B instead of 3L, although this was probably for the better since 3B's Squids can be milked for Terra, which probably factored into me delaying the Shrine.
Dying several times to Perpetual Calendar's Lunatic Phantom, enough that I ended up in the Shrine of Dicktrash afterwards. Would've survived long enough to boost my Terra back up via the Kaleidoscope form (Old Rose is more of a time waster than a hazard for me), but since boosting Terra is useless if I'm already bound for the Shrine, I said fuck it and just killed PC the normal way.
Stumbling all over Segment 6 because oh god I'm so used to Minogame and his nondirectional attacks and now I actually have to aim
SugarSync decided to "kindly" shove an update popup in my face, resulting in the game losing focus and giving me the gray screen of death afterwards. To be fair, i was down to 1 life and was about to die to an attack from one of the Apostles of Satan's Asscrack anyway. But I tried to stumble around afterwords to save my replay. Didn't.
