Trans studies: repeatedly show that regret rates in trans people or detransitions are less than 1%, with rejection from loved ones being the most common cause
My dad: rejects who I am and only asks questions with a negative angle/undertone
Also my dad: why does my kid seem to dislike talking to me??
See New Year's is probably more fun when you aren't having to comfort your cats because they're scared shitless :/
this new added “comments” feature on your profile page is throwing me off because i was sooo active early on and im weirding myself out LOLL. i was into so many guys that i am NOT into anymore (ex carter hart 🤮 auston matthews 🤮 matthew tkachuk 🤮. im sure there are more but i didnt scroll through everything)
i was so young and naive LMAOOO. i wish just could go back and delete asks that have been responded to. there’s a reason i mainly do anon asks now 🙂↕️
Was daft enough to think I could wait until payday to buy the insanely rare Smile CD at a massive bargain and now it's only available for at least £70
Watched Sleepy Hollow 1999 recently and I by no means hated it, but Burton does not know how to handle characters who aren't weird/unusual/outcasts/etc
(it's Brom Bones I'm talking about how they literally and figuratively butchered Brom)
I'm not opposed to deviating from source material, I can live with Brom not getting to marry Katrina. But reducing him to a minor role and killing him off with barely any acknowledgement from the other characters was such a crap decision, Casper Van Dien was wasted on this film
Anyways go watch Headless on YouTube it's unironically brilliant and has hands down one of the best depictions of Brom Van Brunt ever
I love how it seems a lot of time this site as a whole seems to think only people under 30 deal with mental health issues, gender dysphoria, social anxieties, parents being assholes, money problems, pressure to succeed and be successful, et-cetera and et-cetera. The big three-oh don’t fix those things, and surprise each year after that doesn't magically fix them. Sometimes the problems even get worse and maybe sometimes the problems get better or more manageable, but they don’t just go away because you reach a certain age.
