Cain spent a lot of time among people and always hid his angelic appearance from them. Those around him, no matter how good and pure they were, eventually began to envy the angel, whose abilities and appearance surpassed those of humans. Men were envious and began to compete with him; and women, wanting him, went into a frenzy when they were unable to get what they wanted. The endless vicious circle, where generations replaced generations, was never interrupted. Cain never thought that he would be able to find anyone among them who would look at him differently, but after the Horsemen came to Earth, hiding his origins was no longer necessary. When Cain joined Dmitry's squad, he was able to be himself for the first time.
