ladygrey81: Do you have an ARCCO? I thought the essay questions were pretty brutal (mostly in the breadth of topics they can question you on), but other than that, not too bad. I'd like to do an FRCCO someday but i need to get better at improvising first :)
No. I’ve decided to do it every christmas-ish for years, but I never do. I started learning pieces for it last year, but then I got too busy with school, and they changed the syllabus. I’m generally too busy with school, and for the past couple of years, I’ve been too busy with organ, ironically, the job I had left me no time to do something other than scramble for Sunday. That and I don’t have a teacher to work with. It makes sense this year, if I can find an organ to practice on. I guess I’ll read a book about Healey Willan and have at it.
