BEAUTIFUL PERSON ALERT ♥♥♥
@rcketbutcher
@rcketbutcher liked for a starter!
Cyan stood outside of Proton’s office door, feeling his stomach twist into knots.They hadn’t really spoken since the incident. The wonderful, mouth watering,heart pounding incident-
Would they act like nothing happened? Would he shoo him out before he could speak? Would Proton ask for more?
“Sir.” he came in, head down but saluting all the same, a flush on his cheeks. “I, uh, I bought the documents you needed for the next mission.” and he held it in his hands, with only a slight shake.

The stately manor stands imposing—a dark contrast against the thick, fluffy white snow that dusts the ground. They are sitting outside & waiting—waiting for a man that supposedly will strike up a partnership in Giovanni’s stead. Glacial blue gaze settles on the man as he arrives. Their eyes are the same color of their well tailored suit.
Their Glaceon, Anastasia is frolicking in the snow, but a snap of their fingers & the pokemon is by Val’s side in an instant. Val’s smile is slight—but it’s the most friendly they’ve looked in days. “And you must be Mister Proton.” Voice is soft and effeminate with only a trace of friendliness. “I am Val. It is nice to finally meet you in person.” They hold out their hand expectantly.

It seems as if the Kahuna is not home when Proton breaks in to the police station. A storm is raging outside, as usual, and the rumbling of thunder covers the creak of his careful footsteps. Though there is another sound in the silent nice, accompanied by the almost eerie glow of 30+ pairs of feline eyes, and it is the cock of a gun.
The barrel of said gun prods the back of Proton's head, "Gimme one good reason why I shouldn't be shooting you right now, Rocket?"
It was impossible for her to focus on an answer after how deadly his eyes felt and the straightforwardness of his words. But of course, an expected reaction; that was what Mel knew about the superior and perhaps nothing more than that.
Clearing her throat, she held the composure and dared herself to stare back at Proton. ❝I’ve observed your grunts carefully, Proton. They are not being... cautious, maybe?❞
Even she was surprised of how it came out from her own lips without any hesitation. Yet, any wrong sentence could mean an instant trigger for the Executive, knowing his volatile personality. Not something she disliked, but definitely something she’d try to avoid at any costs.
❝Before you interrupt me, sir, I’d-... ❞ her tongue got stuck suddenly, gaze moving away for a second. She could continue, though. ❝...It’s my job to oversee every single movement here. That is all. Maybe asking your grunts to not destroy our equipment could help. A lot.❞
She chuckled quietly. It may have been only out of her nervousness, but a big part of Melinoë was wanting to ‘befriend’ the people she works with; even though she knew that starting with Proton wasn’t her wisest idea, she couldn’t wait any longer.
❝T-they may be still a bunch of kids, but they are yours. Or just... take this as a favor I’m asking. Please...?❞

“Come here so I can strangle ya. It’ll be funny. We’ll laugh about it later.”

“Sure thing, Executive Proton.”
Clarissa punctuates her compliance with an animated salute and skips over, all her pep pushing through her trainers so she springs across the gym floor. It’s like she’s still full of bounce as she turns to face the new recruits. She watches their gaze shift from her to slightly above her shoulder, feeling at the same time Proton’s body closing up against hers from behind and his bare forearm against the front of her neck.
A dirty joke rises in her throat, but the pressure against her windpipe is a good reminder that she’s a couple precious inches away from strangulation city and that she’s not the only one who likes to “play around” during training. She doesn’t pay any attention to Proton’s voice as he explains the hold, instead rolling her eyes back into her head and throwing her tongue out of her mouth until her dramatic choking noises squeeze into an actual, breathless heave. Her chin closes and her hand comes up to grab Proton’s wrist entirely out of reflex before she steps her weight to the side and pendulums her fist backward into Proton’s groin in a mock hit that was decidedly less mocked than it should have been, followed by her elbow coming up into his face.
⊗ and balsamina pls
1) She’s good. She’s very good. Very few of his criminal rivals ever actually earn Giovanni’s genuine respect, but she has without question. In terms of what the Rocket Boss sees as a portrait of a true leader and criminal, Lusamine very much colors inside the lines. Thus, he speaks to her with reservation and caution. If he sees himself as a King, she carries himself as a Queen would. Thus, she demands a real audience from the Capo himself.
2) Lusamine does something that throws Giovanni slightly off guard when they meet–Giovanni tends to keep a grounded, strong stance, but Lusamine strides through the room with a smile on her face and with a graceful pattern of steps. The way she moves seems choreographed and meticulous, and while it’s pretty sight, it bothers Giovanni. He’s accustomed to meeting Yakuza and brutish gangsters who you have to keep your eyes trained on and your body ready to counter attack a moment’s notice. But Lusamine’s dance-like movements has Giovanni’s feet constantly shifting to keep his stance forward to her instinctively. The trained nervousness buzzes in the back of Giovanni’s mind that he might be found without a strong stance when he shifts. It puts him on edge. Lusamine has noticed. She doesn’t stop.
3) When he brings company, they almost always hate Lusamine, especially @rebelracket . Clarissa can’t shake her distrust and hatred of ‘aristocratic’ types, and she’s almost always sweating and gritting her teeth whenever Lusamine speaks. Archer doesn’t play her game, and Lusamine hates him for it. Ariana would fight her at the drop of a hat, because Lusamine will be a tad bit more charming toward Giovanni to make Ariana increasingly uncomfortable. Proton finds Aether’s stuffy atmosphere claustrophobic. Only Petrel seems content enough around Aether and Lusamine, perhaps because he actually appreciates a good facade.

@rcketbutcher has interrupted your workflow.
-If asked which of his ‘colleagues’ Archer hated the most, it would be a very close race between Petrel and Proton. Their… usefulness to the organization had little to do with his derision, of course, for Giovanni wouldn’t have given held them in such high regard if they were more detriment than benefit. However, this knowledge did little to abate the instinctual distaste he had for the two of them. Where Petrel was concerned, it was easily the aloof, lazy sort of way he did things. Archer refused to believe such a lack of work ethic could possibly be of any use in a position such as theirs and the man’s failures in Johto were proof enough of that.
-With Proton, on the other hand, it was a little more difficult to pinpoint the exact reason the Steward had such disregard for him. He was effective, startlingly loyal for one of his disposition, and with the exception of a few cases where his overzealousness cost him an assignment, he was hardly the embarrassment that Petrel most certainly was. It was possible– though the Executive would never confess this out loud– that Proton presented a singularly uncomfortable mirror image for Archer. With what the man knew of his fellow Executive, Archer could very easily see himself in the other’s shoes had his life been just ever so slightly different. If his biological mother decided to keep him, there was every reason to believe Archer would have wound up a near twin of this other man and the reminder of it whenever he needed to work alongside him was… unsettling in a way he struggled to keep at bay.
-Regardless of his feelings on the matter, of course, work and the good of Team Rocket came before all else. So when the taller male found himself standing outside Proton’s office, he maintained an expressionless face and knocked sharply three times.-
