About last night: kicking NYFW off in one of the most decadent and yummiest ways of all, by dining at @kaikagetsunyc on the Lower East Side. We were treated to the delicious chef’s tasting menu which consisted of an eggplant and vegetarian appetizer plate, a sashimi platter, Hida beef rice pot, succulent hida beef sushi, tofu + mushroom hors d’oeuvre, and a desert platter which consisted of chestnut pudding, chocolate mousse, and fruit compote. And let’s not forget the paired beverages including, sake, Japanese whiskey, and plum wine. The perfect way to start this week off in style.
