Frank was keeping close communication with the infamous Shadow Broker as of late. Got hired for a couple of jobs, enough to somewhat become a regular hitman for the Broker even though most of them did line up with his goals of eliminating all three gangs. This job however was different.
As always he was contacted via private message by the Broker and was given a location to meet and speak with one of their own agents since that person would fill her with the details upon meeting.
Frank was reluctant at first to accept the task but the Broker wasn’t someone you could say no to. Upon arriving at the meeting location he stood at the exact spot he was told to stand and waited for the agent to arrive and contact him.
There is a certain level of safety, that renders Liara immune from others guessing her true identity. She finds herself on Illium, a notorious colony no less, for its unruly standing. The Asari finds no place better than here—she’s just an Information Broker, maybe associated with the notorious Shadow of the Galaxy. It’s something, she does not entirely mind, of course. Most on Illium give Liara a wide berth, and paid very little to her work, and even methods. This place, in truth, was no different than Omega flashier and vibrant. A great front, Liara thinks. It’s a planet, where things can be accomplished, whether they be benevolent or malicious to be determined.
Her query is just in sight, a renowned sharpshooter with a reputation of his own. Frank, she knows him by name, his record easy to access with her network—a man cut for the job she’s about to assign him, and her, as her partner in this escapade.
“I imagine you know, what you’re here for,” Liara greets him, and hands him a data-pad. It is equipped with a briefing; information of their mission and how he is to work with this associate—this Asari would provide biotic capabilities. It is a hit on a former agent, a rogue that only thought to get in, grab credits, and exploit any information that could get their hands on. Of course, the Shadow Broker had caught them—and now they’re being hunted. Though, Liara had always known their intentions, but there was something about letting them think they were free, would pay off, in the end. She always had a contingency plan. “I’ferus,” that is the code name she decided to give herself, and she greets her soon-to-be ally with it. “I am the overseer of the information our target has; once he is vanquished, you will be provided with pay, and potentially more. I look forward to working with you.”
