you totally nailed it!! i dont know why people think the crap he does is okay because of who he knows or how he owns it like its still upsetting people and perpetuating a problematic veiw of the world?? and saying "i can make fun of this because i make fun of everybody" doesnt fix it either!! (that was the one that convinced me for ages) and he can do his sense of humor without grossly offending anyone, he just chooses not to like he chooses not to educate himself
whenever my family is being extremely homophobic or transphobic their immediate defense is “we make fun of everyone!!! so it’s okay!!!” so that excuse literally means nothing.and exactly he has loads of impressionable young fans and they’re getting the idea this is okay? thank you for watching the video aw

That’s what I thought! I remember going straight to it when they broke up and seeing “Check back soon for more details on the upcoming tour.” That must just be its default when it doesn’t have anything on it.
It's definitely the default. People keep bringing it back and I'm just like "Dude, it's been that way since they're very last tour.". We've had these sorts of outbursts before.
