I attended an event where I met a boy, my bunny boy, who would fulfill my hearts biggest desire, to become a Mom. RD was barely 5’ tall and 71 pounds. Thank you God for choosing me with the blessing of becoming Ronderik’s Mom. RD is an exceptional human being. He is growing up to be such an accomplished young man with a heart of gold and the love of the Lord coursing through his veins. He makes me and Darrell both so proud. Life isn’t always easy, and it was downright unfair and traumatic many of his first 14 years. But RD was given the gift of Grace - no matter how his day ends, Ronderik wakes up every single day with a smile on his face. He forgives those who likely don’t deserve it, and he starts each day anew. RD continues to shatter so many misconceptions of what it means to adopt a teenager from foster care. He’s already doing so much more than anyone in his early life ever expected he was capable of. Just watch and see. My kiddo, he’s a game changer and he’s going to change the world.
