We need to re-humanize ourselves in the eyes of the world. We need to re-Indigenize our lives in the eyes of our children. I'm not asking you to become a Hollywood Indian, or to throw away your life to live off the land. Adaptability has long been a value of our people, when we say go back to the old ways it doesn't mean reject everything of western culture, that frozen in time ideology is a product of western culture, that is how we are interpreted by the courts not how we interpret ourselves. what I am asking is for you to live the values inherent to our way of life in each and everyday; be good to one another, respect one another, love one another. Living in balance with the world around us, not fighting it...
