I think about this quote at least once or twice a week. Mo Du has a lot surrounding human nature, but this passage right here is what ultimately hooked me in to this particular novel. It resonates with me very much, and it’s not a sentiment I see often discussed in things I’ve read or talked about.
This quote really highlights the solid friendship Tao Ran and Luo Wenzhou has, and idk I just found it really cool that Priest chose to highlight this sentiment.
