rules have been slightly updated and i’ll just give a general announcement reminder as well (read rules before requesting)

i know my fandom list is extensive and it may be hard to limit yourself to just choosing five from my list so:

- vibe matchups can be requested twice for a total of 10 fandoms

- appearance matchups can be requested twice for a total of 10 fandoms

- mini playlist matchups can be requested as many times as you like

- emoji matchups/kin ships can be requested as many times as you like

Written Matchups: (request here)

These matchups are based solely on your personality and I will be matching you with characters I believe are compatible with you romantically or platonically, if that’s what you prefer. Each written matchup receives one description about the length of a paragraph; it is entirely narrative based and not headcanons.

- DO NOT tell me any physical descriptors of yourself. This includes hair color and height. I do not match people with characters based off on physical attributes in written matchups, refer to appearance matchups.

- You MUST tell me your sexuality/gender identity, so that I know which characters I can match you with. It is also okay to say you want a “male,” “female,” or “anyone” matchup if you prefer not to state your orientation.

- DO NOT look at the matchups other people have submitted and use that as a canvas to create your own. Be original and write your own after reading the rules.

- Matchups will be deleted if they do not follow my instructions: if the description is remarkably too short OR too long, and even if it’s something small like forgetting your sexuality or fandoms. I will no longer be lenient.

- Fill up the entire word count if possible. Try to get straight to the point in your description, be specific. DO NOT send me a large paragraph that looks like it’s one page long. That being said…

- If there is no word count, you may send in a ONE PART (~250 words) maximum matchup request. If there is a word count, you may send your description in TWO PARTS maximum. Clarify with (½) (2/2) how many parts there would be, or include an emoji so I know it’s your request.

- SPECIFY what “character category” you want, if you do have a preference. Examples of this are: villain, hero, student for My Hero Academia or a certain Haikyuu!! volleyball team. This applies to the majority of my fandoms, if you do have a preference. If you do not specify, you will receive a character that could be from any of those categories.

- Character category preference also extends to Pokémon and Animal Crossing in which you can request a gen/type or villager species (cat, dog, etc.). Pokémon matchups will include a team of six and always include one legendary/mythical/rare. You need to specify if you want to be matched with a gym leader/character, default is a team. If you want a certain gen/type, then you will only get one Pokémon.

- In your matchup you must INCLUDE: positive and negative personality traits, hobbies, likes/dislikes, what you look for in a partner, what you want in a relationship (or how you want to be treated), other interests, morals, your favorite places to go on a date, and fears. Zodiac, MBTI type, or enneagram types are all optional. Feel free to include anything else that you think would be helpful. If you request Harry Potter or Avatar/Korra, it wouldn’t hurt to include your house or bending ability/non-bending weapon.

- You may REQUEST up to THREE fandoms. Do not resend your matchup asking for more after you’ve received three. If you ask for only one and want to redeem the other two later, that is completely fine. I will reblog your previous written matchup and add the requested additions. I only write a narrative description for one of the three fandoms, you do not choose which one. It will be the one I have more inspiration for, or the character I think you’re most compatible with.

- If you don’t have a preference in fandoms, but still want a matchup, request a random matchup. You need to specify if you want one to three random matchups, otherwise the default is one. These random matchups would include any of the characters from my entire list of fandoms. You can specify which fandom category (anime, video games, etc.) you want the random characters to be from. DO NOT resend asking for three fandoms of your choice in addition to your random request. If you have one or two fandoms you want to request in a matchup, but want your third to be random you MUST let me know in your request.

- I will do written matchup EXCHANGES with other matchup/writing blogs. It is best to usually discuss this in my DMs. As per the rules of general matchup exchanges, we will be writing matchups for each other based on the descriptions we provide.

Appearance Matchups: (submit here)

These matchups are purely based on your physical appearance, as seen through the provided selfies. The characters I choose to match you with for appearance matchups are the ones I believe you would look the best with, physical compatibility wise.

- Send 2-3 selfies through the submission box. If you are having trouble with submitting things, just send me a DM or an ask. SPECIFY your sexuality/gender identity or if you want a “male,” “female,” or “anyone” matchup. Also, specify which character category if you have that preference. Refer to written matchups for that explanation.

- You may REQUEST up to FIVE fandoms. Do not resend the submission asking for more. Appearance matchups DO NOT include a description afterwards. Do not expect a small paragraph.

- I will also do random matchups for appearance as well. Five characters will be chosen from any of the fandoms on my list that I believe you look the best with. You can specify which fandom category (anime, video games, etc.) you want. DO NOT resend asking for five fandoms of your choice in addition to your random request.

- If you have a few fandoms you want in a matchup, but want the rest to be random you need to let me know. This will still not exceed the set amount of five fandoms total. If you have not requested up to five fandoms and want to redeem the remaining ones later, just resend your selfies in the submission box. I will reblog your previous appearance matchup and add the newly requested fandoms.

- I will NEVER post anyone’s photo publicly. Photos are immediately deleted after I finish the matchup. This is why you need to resend your photos if you want to redeem more fandoms to fill up the five maximum. I would have forgotten what you look like.

Vibe Matchups: (request here)

These matchups entail which character’s energy you match and should be interpreted as platonic or a very mild kin assignment, since that is the vibe you give off.

- Provide 5 emojis that you think describe you or your aesthetic. Tell me which FANDOMS you want. Up to FIVE. You can still request random if you want. However, if Pokémon is requested, it will only be one Pokémon, not a team.

- In your matchup request you must include: one or two of your favorite songs of all time, favorite time of day, favorite type of weather, favorite astronomical object (planet, nebula, moon, star, etc.) and your favorite natural environment/biome (forest, tundra, desert, canyon, etc.)

- You can resubmit the vibe matchup a SECOND time for an additional FIVE fandoms. You must resend your previous request back to the inbox though.

- Vibe matchups do not receive a written description, do not expect one. While written matchups are more romantic, these ones are more platonic or a very mild kin assignment.

Mini Playlist Matchups: (request here)

Clearly at this point I have a lot of matchup options for you to choose from. This type of matchup will provide you with a mini playlist of three songs based on the following rules:

- Give me the name of one character that you kin, relate to, or simp for immensely. This character has to be from one of the fandoms on my list, I am unfamiliar with anything else. However, I am in fandoms that are not on my list. Just send an ask or DM asking if I am familiar with a certain character before requesting a mini playlist matchup.

- Give me 3 emojis that describe your personality, aesthetic, or what you associate with the character you kin/relate to/simp for. Also tell me your MBTI type. DO NOT include any smiley emojis for this type of matchup, smileys are fine for vibe matchups.

- You will not receive a written description for these matchups. What you will receive is a mini playlist of three songs that I associate with the character and emojis you provided. DO NOT resend asking for another character.

Quirk Matchups: (request here)

Oh wow! Another matchup choice because I can’t stop adding options. Quirk matchups, very clearly stated in the name. I will assign you a quirk, and give a few sentences explaining what it is, its strengths and its weaknesses.

- You must include all of the following information: hobbies, skills, fears, DnD alignment (or something that let’s me know your morals), strengths, weaknesses, mbti type, ONE word to describe yourself as a whole, and positive/negative personality traits. Provide up to three-five emojis (no smileys) that you would use to describe yourself or aesthetic (you can also just tell me what your aesthetic is instead). Also provide ONE song that you think defines you as a person, not necessarily your favorite song. Optional additions are: likes and dislikes, favorite food, favorite animal, and favorite biome.

- Make sure your request has a sufficient amount of information. I need you to be as detailed as possible, seriously how am I supposed to give you an accurate quirk if you don’t give me that. If there is a word count, I’ll take up to 3 PARTS maximum for your request WITH a 2 PARTS minimum. If there is no word count, a page is fine I guess. Maybe take a look at the lengths other people have given me, but give me your own information okay? If you do not provide enough information, your matchup will be deleted. Literally would be unable to do it, even if you followed rules.

- Once your quirk matchup is posted, you can send me a second ask asking if I think your quirk would be better suited for a villain or a hero. I will also include one or a few characters that would be allies (love working with you or enjoying your quirk) and some that would be enemies (people who target you because your quirk is weak against them or just hate having your quirk used against them). In your ask, please state what quirk I assigned you.
