Fan fiction is weird.
What do you mean I can read a fan fiction of a fandom I'm not part of and it be the most amazing thing I've ever read?
And fully convinced me to then go and watch the show the fan fiction is from.

Do you ever get an update for a fic or series, and you know it's a must that you start from the beginning, even though you know for a fact that it will take you a long time to said update?
Because that is what I am doing right now
I hate it when the audiobook is different from the physical book. I need to listen to it for name pronunciations and almost every other sentence is not even from the edition I'm reading from. What the hell!
Do you have a fic reading/writing routine?
Not really. Writing wise, I need noise. I cant write in complete silence or I'll get off track. If I'm at work (I get a lot of my drafting done at work) I write when the students are doing silent work or are watching a movie or doing group work. I need white noise to draft.
When typing on my computer, I listen to a lot of Disney Parks music, listen to some of my favorite videos like they're podcasts, or listen to a Disney Movie.
When it's time to upload to AO3, I type it on a Google Document first. I have my page color set to an orange yellow so don't hurt my eyes and the letter size to 15. I've found both of those help when it comes to going from paper to computer.
When reading books, I don't have a routine. I think it has more to do (again) with white noise. I need to have a fan going or I have trouble concentrating on the words. If it's music, I need something that's mindless and something I don't need to pay attention to.
