The pro to every con for a writer is that they now know what said con is like so they can write about it.
I love being a writer because I can create worlds, art, and heal all with a stroke of my pen.
I don't need AI to write. I can create fake scenarios in my head perfectly fine myself.
If you're a writer — you have to read The Art of War.
Actually — any person should read The Art of War. It's a beautiful book.It teaches you strategy. Gives you ground for conflicts. Helps you understand the world — and your villains better.
If you write any story with rulers or military action — this book gives you a ton of fuel.
It helps you position forces. Give wise characters actual wisdom. Create strategies. Understand what a state is — and why war matters. What's important in war?
(Spoiler: it's logistics.)
Plus — it applies to real life really well too.
For example — my favorite chapter is "How to destroy a state from within?"
I even made a cool summary of the chapter. Twelve points. (Under cut)
I really recommend reading the whole book.
Right now I'll have to push back one of the chapters of my fic, meaning that my current chapter seven works better as a chsoter eight.
I would kill for this character!
And I would also kill this character because I am a writer and that's what we do with beloved characters.
