actually… i was kidding when i offhandedly mentioned socrates!reader getting sentenced to drink hemlock, but… i honestly think it could be a pretty funny idea? not as in ‘haha, sentencing people to death’ funny but more so how everybody would react to it.

like, the reader would be totally chill and accepting of it. like, ‘oh. ok. i guess i’ll just chill in this jail cell until that time comes, then.’

meanwhile anaxa and the reader’s followers are furiously scheming like ‘ok so we have to figure out where they are being held and here’s this super complex plan to get them out and save them and prove that the death sentence is ungrounded and an abuse of state power and—’

and then they break into the cell all dramatic and stuff — like, ‘do not fear! we’re gonna get you out of here!’ and they find the reader just… talking to this spider they befriended in their cell, or something. completely calm. if anything, they seem mildly disappointed that their conversation has been interrupted.

and then cue anaxa dragging them out by the collar like a wet rat and lecturing them about why they should be more careful because he swears to the fucking titans (which is a big swear for anaxa) if you do something stupid and get yourself fucking killed he will tear amphoreus apart by the seams and upheave the laws of this fucking world and stop at nothing until he has dragged you back from the river of souls with his own two bare fucking hands—

(safe to say, nobody has ever heard anaxa cuss like that before. perhaps nobody ever will again. but hey, he’s already lost one person, okay? more than one, actually. he wants to prevent that from happening again.)

((+ i know i made a similar post with aglaea kind of locking them up for a bit but i think it’s even better if they are literally on death row. in fact, it could work well as a sequel. first they get locked up by aglaea, and then sentenced to death by the council of elders. next up it’s going to be talanton condemning reader to the fires of tartarus and they’re like ‘ok ig. if you must’ and anaxa is like NO!))

Hello it's Anomo Again and i just wanna drop another one Have you wacthed Rio with Blu and Jewel and all?, What if we had a Bahamian Parrot Avian Reader to that, don't matter which one but it's one and she can't fly due to being overly domesticated like blu?, let's just say her and her human went there and axe saw her and was like 'She needs my help!' And just swooped in and literally kidnaps Poor Reader who can't fly for nothing and i bet they'd find her attractive too due to her bright colors and patterns too, but besides the point she's just sitting there like she's about to get eaten if ahe moves a inch and their not making it better because their surrounding her and examining her as i suppose they've never seen a Bahamian Parrot Avian in that place before and yada

I can imagine the chaos of Reader being like: "haha. you thought you was doing a good decision, huh?" while she simply just climb up trees after Axe.

Definitely gets shoved off of a ledge by Killer being a goof at some point unintentionally, meaning Dust has to go ahead and catch her because he has the power of zoomies that break the sound barrier.

I can definitely see her jumping and yelping whenever anything she doesn't know about touches her wings and tail- as well as being totally oblivious to the whole "eye-contant-equals-death-or-intimacy-respectively" thing in Avian culture.

Shy, about that thing we spoke about the other day... Hiccups. How would Black react to the hiccups? Sans would know what a hiccup was? Or would he coo at poor reader? I must know.

(MONSTERS REACT TO WEIRD HUMAN MECHANISMS FOR THE WIN-)

Black: He has no idea what a hiccup is, again. I mean... Not a lot of creatures with lungs live around him. There are marine mammals but... He doesn’t exactly meet them often unless he goes to the Blue Drop when he’s hunting. Let’s say he, for some reason, was carrying you outside the water, just carrying you around in his arms because he was moving somewhere while also showing you the surface and then...Hic.You go bright red while Black stops his gentle bobbing in the waves, hands on your chest. He... W... what’s that?!Your chest bounces erratically when you do, and you try to hold your breath to stop yourself from being so close to him but- you fail and you make another hiccup. You are very uncomfortable from the way his eyelights lock onto you while you can’t help but hiccup and...“why are you doing that? are you doing that on purpose? if not... what’s wrong with you-”Like with the other answers where you get sick, you’ll have to explain about hiccups to Black with something going on with your diaphragm... And while you say you’re fine, like the other answers, he’ll try to make you better and try healing you because you’re not supposed to do that- even if it’s usually completely fine. You’ll need to calm him down and get him to wait until it goes away...

AMitS Sans: Oh yeah. Sans would definitely be exposed to hiccups before. He doesn’t exactly pay it any heed... Human members in his gang get those sometimes- and he’s walked past people who’s had them in the city anyways. He doesn’t exactly know what’s going on, until a subordinate in the gang tells him about it, or even someone like Telo finding out about it from one of the cousin’s shenanigans as an off fun fact. He doesn’t pay it mind and it’s actually kind of annoying to him when he’s telling people what to do... Just noise.But... When he saw his little human on his bed, just getting home from work and making tiny ‘hic!’s from his bed while she’s just sitting down and looking like she’d just woken up from the bed- her hair slightly messy and her face drowsy... It’s the most adorable sound he’s heard in awhile. He’ll definitely coo at her, surprising her since he didn’t make any noise while he just observed her hiccup, quickly sitting on the bed and wrapping his arms around her while you are absolutely confused- unable to stop himself from rambling about how cute you were, while you sweat nervously at his unending stare and unable to stop the “hic-” that keeps coming out of you, closing your mouth and trying to stop yourself- and that makes it all the more cuter to him.
