{Vacation TBR} I’m going on a mini family vacation for the next week and I’m bringing my current read Cinder and it’s sequel Scarlet! . . I’m a little worried I’ll have more time than I think to read and finish these and then not have Cress to read until I get home...#booknerdproblems . . #readerfeels #booklove #booklover #bookworm #booknerd #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #vacationreads #cinder #scarlet #thelunarchronicles
{On a rainy afternoon, you read and you draw} “She would just end up sitting off the dance floor and making fun of the girls who swooned to get Prince Kai’s attention, pretending she wasn’t jealous. Pretending it didn’t bother her.” -Marissa Meyer, Cinder . I love to draw once in a while, and when I was a kid I wanted to be a manga artist. I created a Naruto OC named Suzuki, and today is her birthday. She is in many ways who I’ve always wanted to be, and more. She may not exist in the real Narutoverse, but as she is my original OC, I love her so much ❤️ . . Also I was tagged by @ulrikkereads to do the #readerfeels tag so here it is! 🌸 A book that made me angry: 50 Shades Of Grey 😡 although I’ve never read it, I have friends who gave me a synopsis of the whole series and I just hate what it represents 🌸 A book I didn’t feel like finishing: The Jewel by Amy Ewing. I started reading this but the beginning just didn’t grip me and I have mixed feelings about reading the series... 🌸 A book that made me cry: The Kiss Of Deception by Mary E Pearson 😭 Walther!!! 🌸 A book that made me fall in love: Alex & Eliza: A Love Story by Melissa De La Cruz 😍 my little A.Ham and Eliza!! 🌸 A book that made me smile: The Beauty Of Darkness by Mary E Pearson 😊 my new OTP Lia and Rafe ❤️ . #booklove #bookish #bookworm #drawing #anime #oc #audiobook #cinder #thelunarchronicles

I nominate @lostinabookishcollection and @alythereader to do this tag! • • #harrypotter #harry #books #bookstagram #reneesbookstagram #bookfacemagazine #bookfeaturepage #bookstagramfeature #wednesdatbooks

Reading Problems
Why is it that everytime readers find a good book....every position is uncomfortable. It ultimately just ends up with an upside down reader who feels as though they did a six hour workout.
The End is Near: A Reader's Emotional Distress
Me when reading: *half way through the book* Me: wow, I'm halfway to the end, I can't wait to finish this book and see how everything comes together ends.*smiles & nods to self* *last half of the book starts getting slimmer* *heart starts racing with excitement as I feel the grip if pages on my right hand lessen* *then panic and anxiety kick in, only about 5 or so more chapters to go* *closes the book momentarily, & takes a deep breath* *all the events & emotions to this point rush through my mind * Me: Oh no...the story is almost over. .....This is good though right? Because I really want to see how this ends.... But no don't want it to be over! I really love this story, I've fallen into this world & don't want to leave it yet... *quickly opens the book & starts reading again, then pauses* Me: *think I have a solution for my inner quarrel* I know I'll just read the rest of the story very slowly, making it last longer... *ends up reading the last chapters very quickly because of the intensity of the events; that somehow end up giving me the ability to read quicker* *story is over* ..... *rereads the last sentence(s) of the ending about 2 more times* *closes book, stares & strokes the cover* Me: *stares at floor* No...I didn't want this to end....*long sigh* Now what?... A few days days pass... *opens a new book* CYCLE OF EMOTIONAL DISTRESS STARTS AGAIN.... This always happens to me when the book I'm reading isn't part of a series. When it's just that one book, and the story is over, it doesn't continue... Because when it's a book series I just can't wait to get to the next book and so on... However, every book series does have that one last book, then it IS that Cycle of Emotional Distress. And you wish you had read the whole series a bit slower....
