I’m a Wizard

I’m a wizard,

That’s not a joke or a metaphor,

I actually am a wizard,

My powers take many different forms,

I can see into alternate realities by looking at words on a page or images on a screen,

I can manipulate someone’s emotions by blowing air into an instrument,

I can shapeshift into other people, changing my appearance and mind to fit them,

And I do so whenever the curtains open on my stage,

I can build palaces with just a paper and pencil,

Create entire worlds inside my own head,

I can see with more than just my eyes,

There are kingdoms that very survival hinges on the role of my di,

My green soul gives me the power to care about about others and the will to make the world a better place,

I can piece together fractured shards of knowledge like puzzle pieces,

Forming an image that at the same time makes perfect sense and none at all,

My very body is made of the same stuff as the stars themselves,

Some doubt my power,

They say there is nothing mystical about me,

But tell me….
