Quick pro tip:

When you're in a new space, like, after moving, visiting someone, vacation etc. Always ask yourself- "if zombie apocalypse starts now, where do I go for food, medication, improvised weapons? And where can I go for help?"

Basically;

Where is the grocery store?

Where is the pharmacy?

Where is the hardware store?

Where is the hospital?

Where is the fire station?

Where is the police station?

(Hardware stores are more important then you might think)

You don't need to be paranoid, but you do need to be prepared. A zombie apocalypse is a great thought experiment. If you don't know the answer to "what do I do if it starts right now?" you're not prepared, so you're not safe.

Know where the important points are.

Know exactly how to get there.

Know another emergency route.

Know approx' how long it takes to get there.

Know the store layouts.

Know how to use improvised weapons.

Remember, prepared - not paranoid 🤭
