...Ready For It? Official Music Video out Thursday night.
With the beginning and end of the reputation statium tour, I wanted to do something to commemorate this period in @taylorswift ‘s life and how it has helped people find the people they care about through the noise. When she posted on Instagram on how she wanted to look like a zombie hunter I really wanted her fighting zombie Taylor. This is my first time trying comic book style from The Walking Dead inspiration. With that I cannot wait for the future songs that Taylor will create and with @taylornation and all the Swifties (including me 😁) by her side it will be a long lived future. Also there’s a time-laspe feature on Procreate and I love it so there’s that on this post too 😅. ❤️
I’m seeing ms taylor alison swift in 4 DAYS at rep tour Detroit? @motownswift
taylor’s standing on something that says “they’re burning all the witches” and I’m assuming this is a reference to the salem witch trials in the sense that powerful and outspoken women are feared and hunted down.
Taylor is a powerful woman who has spent her entire career being demonized by the media— basically, there’s been a witch hunt for her, and her actions/mistakes are heavily scrutinized mostly on the basis that she is a woman. The media also spins this narrative that she has this “witchy” effect on men (“stealing hearts and running off and never saying sorry”).
Basically, I’m pretty sure this video is showing that aspect of her “reputation”, and calling out the media/society for trying to tear down and undercut the success of powerful women. And I’m so here for it.
That’s it. October 26 we all gonna die.
Can someone please introduce a clock to Taylor and say "midnight is not the only option"
