Thursday, April 11: i have learned you found someone new.. and no matter how i feel, I have to keep going.
Friday, February 23: the day hold it's breath, and I sit here counting down the hours.
To the guy who chooses to let me go.
Thankyou. Thank you for everything. Thank you for what we both went through together. Thank you.
As I sit here in front of my laptop and writing. I want to express my heart to you. "I thought you would stay." I thought that our connection was unbreakable and would withstand the test of time.
You were the only one I had. The person I can tell all my fears, dreams and what I want to do. You knew then that I have no one else to talk to but you because you are the only one who understands, listens, and gives me rest. You know me well. You know that I'm not that showy towards other people because I'm too shy and I talk less to people I don't feel comfortable with and I don't trust other people because I have you. You are the one I could depend upon to support me through thick and thin. But now you chose to end our connection. And I am left feeling a profound sense of loss.
In the midst of my own personal pain, I choose to release any bitterness, or hurt that may have resided in my heart. I choose to forgive you for the pain of our past and by your decision to let me go. I understand that we are all flawed individuals. I understand and respect you. May God help us and have a future filled with hope for us. A hope of being the best version of ourselves for ourselves and a hope of being who we want to be. I will always be proud of you. I will be happy with all that you will achieve and do. I will always be your number one fan (from your lowest to your best). I believe you. May the Lord take care of you. Thank you for being one of my beloved. I leave the rest to you in peace and love, I pray that you know how I treasure you. May God bless you.
