Surfers, campers flock to Real Coast and Surf REAL, Quezon - Looking for a beach destination near Metro Manila to visit over the weekend? Try Quezon province where the waters off Real town are great for surfing - even for beginners - and just bumming out under the sun. At the Real Coast & Surf, which has both a campsite and hotel, surfing lessons are available at PHP500 per hour inclusive of board rental. The place is ideal for beginners as waves range two to four feet high. Skimboards and surfoards can be rented also be rented exclusive of lessons. Visitors can pitch their tent at the campsite during their day trip or overnight or they can rent any of the cabanas by the shore. Also available for booking are hotel rooms near the resort's pool as well as dorm and family rooms. Meals are served at The Pavilion and at the Food Shack nearer the beach. Visitors can enjoy fish and chips, calamares, chicken and waffles and chili fries while relaxing at the Shack, which is filled with colorful bean bags and low hexagonal tables.
