shitty people say the show isnt realistic bc the diversity, naïve people say the show is good bc the diversity, but is no one gonna talk about the weird pacing? stuff happens way too fast n convenient- random things not previously established appear out of thin air when relevant, people know things before they reasonably wouldve, and like most of the dialogue, or really just entire interactions, are so odd and clunky
#not gonna say what show it is#i dont mean naive in a necessarily bad way just like theres more that makes a story actually good than diversity#the shitty people say its not realistic while they never talk about the powers or whatever supernatural thing is going on being 'not#realistic'#everyone is missing the point#also its not like nonwhite/european people suddenly appeared in the last decade or whatever#its kinda historical or whatever btw so thats why the shitty people are throwing fits#the white kid n asian kid being related makes more sense instory wise than kid 3 randomly solving the mystery set up 2 seconds ago#like u gotta sell me ur story dude the plots gotta be as believable as the relationships between the characters#realistic isnt the same as believable btw#wish more people would talk about stuff from a writing perspective other than that lowkey annoying youtube guy
