some dude on a facebook group was selling imports and i asked if he was selling sierra leone clown killis.

 the guy ended up getting pissy with me because i would not do a trade for a trio for babies he raises from egg??

 why would i do such things i just wanna buy adult females mane. My males are mine and if i am selling any clowns it would be to my local killifish clubs first....

Oopsnotoops just won an aquabid for clown killifish eggs 💃 Never got to hatch dormant eggs before so that'll be pretty sweet

Lost the female xiphidius to jumping :c she jumped through the tiniest slit where the lid was slightly ajar. She landed on my papers and I somehow didnt notice when she jumped 😞 she was slightly moist but definitely dried on to my papers… I popped her back in the tank to which she instantly revived and gave her medicine. However she didnt make it overnight. Im sad but I will do a better job of covering the tank holes with plastic !! Talked to the breeder about it, he’s gonna arrange to send me another female soon as there’s warm days again.

killifish show “prologue”

im like dying at the thought of bringing new clowns home. new family for my clan of killi friends!! 

I dont know how I’m going to do it though. 

The 20g Long has the three couple-month-old babies in there that are maybe under a half inch long now. 

Maybe big enough to have adults with them? If not I can build a big mesh box for them to chill in. That’d be pretty sweet actually. I should do that anyway. 

All else that is in the 20g L is 6 “cull” dwarf shrimpers from the 12g.

 So yea it’s relatively empty and has been for months and months!!! but it’s nice, stable, and safe for babies and shrimpies. 

The 12g itself can house more adults if necessary too. Could use another Male in there. 

As far as Supplies goooo, hoe boy. I’ll try to get some spawning mops!!! Some nice plants. Not that i need anymore fucking plants gotdamn. Live food... I want eggs but considering the hatch-rate of my species i feel like it may be a waste of money.

We’ll see!! I’m so excited to get to talk to people about my killis!!! lmao
