Winter shall pass I am a dead tree in the winter Stripped of all its green leaves The coldest winter I've ever had to endure I am left naked, all my strength has been stolen from me My bare branches are stiff and cold I long to bring forth life again As seasons pass, I wait to flourish with strength Patiently, I accept my healing process Like a tree who regains its leaves Welcoming flower buds that bloom once spring arrives.
