Amy collapsed to the floor, trying to slow her breathing. She had been in the middle of a meltdown. The life they had wasn't easy. They lived in constant danger, but no more than most people. The only difference is that she knew about the monsters that lurked in the dark, where as most did not. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Bobby. "I'm.. sorry Bobby. I ..shouldn't have been so loud."

┊ ┊ ┊ ┊ ♥︎ . *. ⋆ IT'S A BIT HARD TO TELL exactly who it was that suddenly wrapped their arms around him from behind, momentarily thinking that it may have been nancy or even dustin, but looking down and seeing the familiar sleeves ... he knew EXACTLY who it was. it was kind of interesting how el seemed to know exactly when it was he needed some form of comfort, even if a lot of the times she didn't express or show it out loud. he never made his loneliness particularly known, but with el ... he didn't have to. she just seemed to ... know. and he was grateful for that.

"Uh huh," the blonde agrees sarcastically, but it doesn't stop the smile from pulling at her lips. Steve Rogers could handle himself just fine, it didn't take a historian to point that out. Some would say the Captain was made for moments like this, but it didn't make her worry any less. It didn't make her care any less.

Her fingers pull out his earpiece, handing him the small device then she gives a small nod. "Alright then...I won't have a headset, but I'll be in the control room and I'll um....I'll see you when you get back." A slow breath leaves her and she forces another nod.

".....Stay safe. Please?"
