Beginning the Next Chapter
Hey there, welcome to Meet Matt's Mind on Tumblr. I have to say I'm really excited about expanding my mind through social media. I have a ton of stuff in mind that I would love to express, so I figured that this, Twitter, and YouTube would be great places to start. You have to wonder though, how do you go from someone who hasn't expressed him/herself publicly in a while to someone ready to reach out across various social media outlets to share creativity with the world?
I think for some people, you reach a certain level of frustration. At least, that's what has led me to this point. I have reached a point where I am tired of being frustrated with myself and doing nothing about it. Inspiration is one of the greatest gifts that my wife has given me. She is always thinking, always motivated, always striving for that next step. Taking my recent inspiration from her, I realized that feeling sorry for myself and continuing the same habits is only trapping myself in a vicious circle, which can be quite dizzying. I see that now is a good a time as any to act and change the direction in which my life is going (from a creative point of view at least).
Which brings me to today; here I am! All this creativity I have been stifling in recent years, all this imagination I have allowed to get lazy - NO MORE! This is the first page on the next chapter of my life. I am here to share my thoughts, experiences, and ideas with all of you. I want to hear your feedback and learn from you, while also hoping to touch your lives in a positive way. In addition, I want to entertain the heck out of you; I'm going to make you smile, I'm going to make you laugh, and I'm going to make you happy. That's my campaign slogan, and I'm sticking to it!
2015, this is going to be my year. Better yet, let's make it our year!
