Sometimes its just nice to sit down for a bit.

Spiderverse AU for Ruairi and Gislaine.

Ruairi got bit by his spider while he was scavenging for parts, turning him into Red Weaver eventually. The spider was a modified jumping spider, so his leaping skills are extraordinary.

Gislaine's symbiote Shadow was born from their father's symbiote. Gislaine had been beaten within an inch of their life and was declared braindead, and that's when Ghost intervened and gave a part of himself to heal Gislaine of their injury and near death. They very much would have died fully if Ruairi(disguised) hadn't saved their life.

Gislaine wanted bloody revenge on the people who did that to them, and clashed a bit with Red Weaver when he was trying to get justice for them in his own way.

So i’ve been on new adhd meds, and like i said last time i’m drawing so freakin much. I actually got through my reserves about inking a piece and inked them snatched the line-art onto my old phone to do a color test! Now to color the original sketch :D

Current wip of Red Weaver in action! I haven’t finished the sketch phase, so no lining yet. Also... if you cant tell by the blotchy inking on the right, the pen i use is dying OTL But i am still super proud of this! just gotta do the face in Sai when its done cause i tried a /little/ too hard to get it right the first... ten times. Still, hope you all like it! She will be featuring in the rest of my fic Death Has Kissed Your Skin, My Love which just got a second chapter up featuring the Akumatization of Ladybug!  Do gotta say, it’s got a few touchy subjects like Self-deprecation and corpses currently mixed in, but i promise in a few chapters it’ll be fluff QuQ Any-who Draco out!

Heyo everyone again!

I’m practicing traditional coloring lately, and while coloring Red Weaver i realized that she looked AMAZING if i omitted the base red of her suit for a white/pink. So new colors now!

GUESS WHO’S GOT INSPIRATION TO CONTINUE HIS FIC??? it’s meeeeeeeeeeeeee So this is my take on Akumatized!Ladybug: Red Weaver! Based off of a fusion between a Red Widow and a Red SpinyBacked Orb Weaver. She will be appearing in the next chapter to my fic “Death Has Kissed Your Skin, My Love”!  (read below before clicking) Originally i was going to go with a ‘Ladybird’ spider, but i wanted something more unnerving and original, so i did a bit of hunting for these three beautiful specimen. For those interested in the fic, big warning real quick that the main idea of it is that whenever chat dies during an akuma attack he is brought back with a permanent scar(s) of how he died and how this psychologically affects Marinette/Ladybug, ESPECIALLY once she learns /who/ her chaton is. I know for some it’s a touchy subject, but i will note that the next chapter will involve less mention of death, and add a lot more fluff into the mix. Just… fluff with a psychologically unstable Ladybug. :D I’m not cruel to them what are you smoking???

Continued work on Red Weaver! Honestly enjoying making this fic/au a lot! It's fun to play with the idea and see how Akumatized!Ladybug aka Red Weaver plays out.
