Last Night's Drink
Michael-David Vineyards Petite-Petit 2008. Yes, we bought it because it had two cute circus elephants on the label. But we fell in love with it because it pachyderm'd quite a punch. See what I did there? The wine is so named for its combo of petite syrah and petit verdot (85/15), and at around $15 a bottle, it is awesome. It pours a deep deep deep purple and is supremely jammy. Drink a bottle of this stuff then go brush your teeth.
