Okay

You know how Lovely was missing for a solid day when they were abducted by Adam?

What was Vincent doing during the day they were missing?

As in, when the sun was up and he couldn’t physically be out looking for them.

Presuming the audios took place roughly around their release date, Lovely was abducted in August. And August can be hot and sunny and bright as all hell. According to a quick search, the average daylight hours in California in August 2020 was about 13 hours (Yes I paid the math budget for a tumblr post).

13 hours out of 24 where Vincent would have to stay put, unable to be searching for Lovely, not knowing where they were, if they were alive, if every second he wasted waiting for the sun to go down would be a second closer to their death.

Adam presumably abducted Lovely shortly after Vincent left, and when their powers manifested he was able to arrive straight away, so presumably a majority of the time that Lovely was missing, it was daylight.

Where was Vincent during that time? In his house, panicking, trying to think of what he could do, where Adam would be? Was he at William’s, confessing everything to his Maker, knowing that if Lovely was found, as an unempowered person, they’d need to be tranced to forget everything about magic, Vincent included? Was he at Sam’s place, trying to come up with a plan for them to search together when it turned dark again? Was he at Lovely’s place, trying to ground himself in the everything of them that surrounded him, trying to figure out if there was any hint of where they would have been taken?

All I’m saying is I need a flashback audio or a really in depth fanfic by someone more skilled than me of what Vincent was doing during that fateful day. That’s not too much to ask, right?

If Vincent and Porter hadn't been rivals, and Porter had not been sent away by William, then Porter could have used his tracking skills to help Vincent find Adam and Lovely. And he probably would have found them a lot sooner.

Edit: come to think of it, Porter also would have sensed Adam's use if nagic to cover his ass long before Lovely entered the picture. Kinda sucks that he wasn't around.
