Gabriel wanted to struggle, really he did, but his body tensed up on him at the tight grip on him. He growled both at himself and at the werewolf. “Let. Me. Go.”

Logan hugged himself tighter as he stumbled through the snow at the edge of the road. His head pounded and he wished he had a scarf or a thicker coat, something to keep out the biting wind. His gloves were thin and didn’t do any good against the wetness of the snow. So he kept them in his armpits to try and keep them warmer. They were the main thing he needed to keep safe. Without them, he might as well be dead.
His best bet was to follow the road they had crashed off of in hopes that someone might come upon him or that he might happen upon a town or something. He wasn’t fully paying attention to where he was walking, though, and tripped on a rock covered by the snow. He cried out as he fell, sliding down into the ditch. He lay there, winded, curling in on himself, desperately wanting to just give up and accept his fate to die in the snow storm. But he wasn’t a quitter, no matter how hard things got.
He didn’t know if he had laid there for only a few seconds or longer, but everything hurt and protested as he forced his muscles to cooperate and drag himself up out of the ditch. He coughed harshly, just crouched on the side of the road, entire body shivering uncontrollably. Logan gasped when he saw a pair of boots stop in front of him. He snapped his bloody face up to see his savior, sure he must have been hallucinating.

Gabriel just smirked at the man with hooded eyes. “Oh, I’m afraid I can’t do that, honey.” He walked to the edge of the circle, as close to the other as he could. Raising a finger to his lips, a forked tongue flicked out, revealing his sharp teeth.
“Y’see, You summoned me for a reason even if you didn’t realize it. And I can’t leave until that reason is fulfilled.” He hummed, “has your little book told you what I am and what my reason is for being here.”

Xander felt a very intense urge to back up when the demon moved closer, gritting his teeth and staying in place instead. He wasn’t about to be intimidated but whatever low grade imp he’d summoned on accident, regardless of whatever weird flirting they had going on.
“I summoned you to make a deal with you but unfortunately you’re not who I wanted.” and no he hadn’t figured it out, but he wasn’t about to let them know that. “besides very few summonings are binding anyway unless they have intent.” something the demon of course probably knew.
Gabriel raised an eyebrow. “Are you really trying to tell me how summonings work, boy? That’s cute. Another thing is that you should understand what your summoning ritual is for before trying to summon it. You should read the fine print to know what you’re doing.”
Gabriel shook his head with a laugh, stepping back. His black lion-like flicked behind him. “No one ever reads the fine print anymore,” he murmured to himself, “And they wonder why these sorts of things happen.”

“I mean, it kinda is. I ask you for a thing, you’ll say you’ll do the thing, I sign on the line and the thing gets done. Small print and consequences be damned.”

Gabriel wasn’t expecting that sort of confession and he was at a loss for words for a moment. “I, uh, you’re welcome?” He chuckled.

Gabriel observed his summoner from the veil between planes for a moment, trying to understand the reasoning before he was told, but instead just ended up admiring his features. It had been too long since Gabriel had been purposefully summoned. He appeared before the other in a puff of black mist, a grin slowly pulling at his lips.
“Well, hello there,” he purred, “It’s a fine evening, isn’t it?”

It had become more of a common thing for Gabriel to find himself at a bar on the weekends. Since he could get drunk now, he enjoyed partaking in a few drinks when he could. He also enjoyed watching the different sorts of people that attended.
That particular night, his bar of choice happened to be having a trivia night. He knew it would be an unfair advantage for him to participate, but he was willing to partner up with someone if they so chose. He surveyed the other participants as the game started, eyes catching on one man in particular. Unlike the rest of the noisy crowd, he was signing the answers, clearly in hopes that his teammate would verbally answer for him. Unfortunately for him, the other male was either blatantly ignoring his correct answers in attempts to try and answer himself or he didn’t understand the signing completely. Whatever the reason, though, it was apparent to the former angel that the mute man’s frustrations were rising.
Gabriel saw this as an opportunity and weaved his way through the crowd, holding his margarita over his head to keep it out of the way. His arrival seemed to go unnoticed at first which wasn’t surprising given the ever moving crowd, but he tapped on the oblivious man’s shoulder and said loudly enough to be heard, “Mind if I join?” It looked like the man was going to argue, likely to defend his fragile masculinity or something, so Gabriel was more forceful and slipped between the two men, bumping the other away from the table hard with his hip. The man spilled his drink a little and looked ready to fight when he turned back to face Gabriel, face red with rage. But Gabriel held up a hand and seemingly stopped him with a hard stare. “Walk away,” he ordered, “Your help is neither helpful nor required.” With a yell of frustration, the man stomped away.
“Hi,” Gabriel said, flashing a bright smile at his new table mate. As he continued speaking, he signed to the man as well just in case he happened to be deaf and had trouble reading lips with the dim lighting. “My name’s Gabriel. Thought I could lend a hand and a voice since Chad over there wasn’t doing any good. What’s your name?”

Gabriel looked at the wound with wide eyes, applying pressure as he made the other male sit down. “What happened?” he demanded.
