"I-Am That Is, my sword shall wield for me"
I'm extremely happy with how this commission turned out! Redwall has always had a special place in my heart. In fact, it was Mr. Jacques who had a role in encouraging me to keep making art, even if it was brief. I also keep going back and forth between styles when I draw fanart for the series. Part of me was heavily inspired by the animated series and wants to do my own take on it, but at the same time I really enjoy painting them in a semi-realistic style like I picture when I read the books.
So if I do more fanart the style might change a bit depending on the feeling I’m going for. In this case, they wanted it to resemble the animated series a bit more and be suitable for a tattoo, which is incredibly flattering.
