Feminism has to become way more violent if we want to see the parriarchy end. We will no longer debate it, if your movement doesn't include intersectional and anticapitalist feminism, we will tear it apart.

One of my biggest critiques of the hardcore "misandrist feminists" is that their ideas for change are based on punishing men than on securing liberation.
As an example: A mutual of mine reposted a tiktok that said, in summary, Immigration laws should be lessened for women and heightened for men, "So women can travel easier and it would reduce crimes".
There are many things to critique about this view, starting obviously with the extremely xenophobic and right wing idea that immigration is causing crime, but moreso my critique lies with wanting to use a white supremacist system to bring down men for the reason that they hate them.
I'm not hear to say whether or not you can hate men as that's another discussion, but it's very obvious this view isn't centered around liberation, or fighting white supremacy, but instead punishing men for existing using the same tools that got us into this mess in the first place. Theyre right that women should be able to travel much easier, and yet instead of focusing on the system that prevents women from traveling, they seek to weaponize it. Does this sound like a revolutionary set of politics? To maintain the carceral ideas of punishment instead of directing your criticisms to the roots?
In the end, it shows a major flaw is that their hatred becomes blinding, and liberation no longer matters, only flipping the pyramid and reversing who gets to dominate. This is why you so often see people who believe this mindset slide into TERFism and eventually back to anti-feminism.
If your politics center who you hate instead of who you support, you will find yourself having not moved forward at all.
Dont mean to sound like a dick but watching liberals start to finally embrace that the democratic party tactic of "you owe us your votes or things will get worse" is a shit strategy is an "I told you so" moment among all leftists. We've been saying this shit for YEARS but now that your favorite bourgeoisie socialist is saying it suddenly you understand it now? Give me a break.
I have been very irked with the coverage of America's recent Counter Terrorism post, and what has irked me is the intentional erasure that Anarchists are mentioned.
Everyone is mentioning Antifascists and Trans people (understandably) and refusing to say the word Anarchist, just like how they call the Haymarket Martyrs every left term except Anarchist too.
The erasure of Anarchists is not unnoticed, and is despicable to do. The state is saying they want to kill Anarchists, a group of people who advocate anti-authoritarian socialism and are constantly fighting back against the state. We have always been there, from freely feeding people during the Carolina floods to squatting in the Weelaunee forest even under the threat of death when we tried to stop Atlanta's Cop City from being built. Anarchists have shed their own blood on the streets to defend abortion rights, for the 8 hour workday, to degend protesters seeking shelter from violent cops in the 2020 protests.
There has long been the attempted erasure of Anarchists from history, both by the bourgeoisie state and from other leftists who refuse to acknowledge our existence and impact.
Your erasure puts us in danger, especially those of us who are transgender anarchists. When they drag the people who show up in Black Bloc off the streets and into prisons, will there be anyone left to stand up for you when they come for you next?
You don't have to be an Anarchist, or agree with us, to understand why refusing to stand with us now will weaken the left in the long run.
Hey I understand that non-marginalized people can be hurt by systems made to attack marginalized ppl but we shouldn't base our reasons for defending the marginalized on that.
Cis women are hurt by transmisogynistic legislature, however; we should support trans rights because it's hurting trans women not because cis women get hurt occasionally.
Able bodied people are hurt by ableist legislature, however; we shohld support disabled people because it's hurting them, not because able bodied people might become disabled later.
Men are hurt by the patriarchy, however; we should still dismantle the patriarchy because it hurts women not because it sometimes hurts men.
We should support marginalized people because theyre being targeted, not because someone might miss the target.
It's true that abolishing capitalism won't cure everyone's mental health but like it would help. It would help a fucking lot.
Liberals really like to act like the red states are pits of hell that need to be wiped off the earth, meanwhile northern states absolutely suck to organize in bc those same morally superior liberals will find every excuse under the sun as to why they can't participate in their community.
Like okay Sharon is a trumpie and that's shitty but Sharon also has dedicated her time to setting up events for seniors, organizing farmers markets for local gardeners, and spooning out soup for anyone who comes by at the local church soup kitchen. I can convince Sharon to join me in protesting an AI data center bc she cares about her community even if her ideology is flawed, if you tell a liberal to do anything but dancing in a frog suit they call you a fascist.
My best advice to anyone getting into leftism is, and I mean this completely /srs, do not treat social media communities as education. Read theory, attend discussions (irl or online), engage with people around you, do not use random faceless people online as education.
Discourse isnt Praxis, arguments over the internet do not matter outside of the screen. The people doing the most are not getting into another fight with another leftist trying to become the next breadtube streamer.
