7. A song to drive to

Well, obviously anything off the Drive soundtrack.  But other than that, I like driving to mostly anything by Joe Hisaishi, particularly stuff from Kiki’s Delivery Service

10. A song that makes you sad

I have two categories for this:  ”I Don’t Wanna Get Over You” by the Magnetic Fields is a very sad, lonely song

on the other hand, anything from the most recent Strokes album makes me sad because it could’ve been good, but no it fucking sucks dick

11. A song you never get tired of

Fucking “Big Beast” by Killer Mike.  I sound like a middle class white boy but whatever, it’s so god damn catchy and fun

19. A song that makes you think about life

"Wishes" by Beach House.  For some reason anything by Beach House makes me think about life and the big picture

23. A song you think everybody should listen to

"Defeated No More" by Disclosure.  I’m getting really tired of all the Top 40 dubstep/electronic bullshit, if you want some real, well made house music, look no further than Disclosure

24. A song by a band you wish were still together

"Dance Yrself Clean" by LCD Soundsystem.  My all time favorite band, and one of my all time favorite songs, and it depresses me that I’ll never get to jam out to it live :(

25. A song by an artist no longer living

"Needle in the Hay" by Elliott Smith.  He was one talented dude and it’s really sad that he dies so early

26. A song that makes you want to fall in love

"Take Care" by Beach House.  I know I already had Beach House earlier but this song is so sweet and beautiful to me

27. A song that breaks your heart

"Karma Police" by Radiohead.  The first time I heard it I was taken aback by how depressing it sounded, and it still makes me sad to this day

¯\_(ツ)_/¯: do you have any tumblr friends? If so, who are they?

Well, first of all, there’s the Fuggmuff.  One of my very best friends, the one who got me to make a tumblr, the one I can tell anything to, the one who I love to death, and also the one one with the best name.  Then there’s this huge scrub named reedbattles who can’t spell Nickelback right.  There’s incognitoesq and nowayryantatum, two of my other great friends from high school, and there’s also moderndaydiogenes, emartimus, and mikr7, my friends at college who I don’t know where I’d be without them.  In a much darker place, something I don’t like thinking about.  Finally, there’s the assofiron, some scrub I met at an anime convention. I think that’s everyone, but if I forgot anyone, I’m sars :(

◕‿◕:what is your guilty pleasure?

I’m proud of most of the things I like, but I have to say shitty reality television shows are my guilty pleasure.  I heartily enjoy Duck Dynasty, and I fucking love Pawn Stars.  My absolute favorite, with no doubt, has to be Hoarders.  I think I like it so much because it makes me feel better about myself, that I’ll never let myself get that nasty/disgusting/dirty.  I’ve also become a much cleaner person since I started watching it, so there’s also that.

High school is a fucking waste of time, at least in a schooling sense.  In terms of school learning, I took very little, but maybe that was because I didn’t enjoy the classes I took/the teachers who taught me were generally not very good.  There was the exception here and there, but overall I took very little book knowledge from high school.  I do think it’s a necessity, however, for young adolescents to go to in order to just educate yourself about people.  I learned much more about relationships, emotions, and life than I did about physics or chemistry.  I shudder to think of where I’d be if I hadn’t gone to a public school for 4 years.  College, on the other hand, is what high school should be like.  You have freedom to do what you desire, all the time in the world to pursue your dreams/binge watch Netflix, you get to meet people who share similar interests to you, etc.  High school does nothing to prepare you for university, which is another thing I despise about it.  I think the public education system needs to be overhauled, but who am I to talk?
