using a reed pen with India ink for drawing onto a watercolor painting. The reeds I cut last year from a puddle at the moraine (that place is filled up with construction rubble meanwhile). #MorningMake Bad calligraphy and doodling using a pen snipped from a phragmites stalk. Do yourself a favor and wiki phragmites, it is the reed of myth and legend. The long branch at the bottom shows how much the ink was drawn up between the layers of leaves-I cut the end into the shape of a pen nib.
