but a stuck in love plot where they grow up together and start off as rusty/kate. she's popular but sad and has a drug problem and he's the one that she thinks can save her. they fall in love and are happy for a while but she slips up and ends up in rehab. they break up, but remain friends. he's there for her the entire time, helping her with her therapy and doing everything he can to make sure she's happy. they both end up attending the local state college, where they enter the louis/samantha phase. at this point she's jaded and cynical about life and love and all that, and he tries to get her to see that being in a relationship isn't that bad and tries to make her fall for him. it ends up working, he breaks through the walls and they grow up and get married blah blah blah and now they're bill/erica. the marriage isn't as happy as they thought it would be, and they both end up cheating, then get divorced. it takes many mistakes and lots of angst, but eventually they end up together and it's happy in the end and la di dah i'm making myself sad goodbye

When Hiram Berry announced that he was running for presidential office, there was a public outcry. Openly gay and raising a daughter? The odds seemed impossible. However, Berry’s politics and incredible campaign stragtegies awarded him office, and subsequently, Rachel Berry’s life changed forever. She was thrust into the public eye, and though it was everything she ever wanted, it wasn’t about her being a star.

When homophobic opponents of President Berry’s made threats on Rachel’s life, Hiram demanded that a bodyguard be hired to keep an eye on Rachel at all times. He asked that she be immediately removed from her dorm room, and put up in an apartment close to her school in New York. That’s where your character comes in.

Your character is a twenty-something ex-military man who retired from service, since the stress of being overseas became too much. He joined the secret service instead, and has been assigned to watch over Rachel. At first, the two struggle to get along. Ever since her rise to fame, Rachel has begun a streak of slight rebellion. A tattoo no one can see, parties almost every night, and boys coming in and out of her bedroom. So when an attractive, older man is hired to spend time with her, Rachel immediately makes an advance on him. Your character rejects them, finding Rachel weak and spoiled, while she thinks he’s uptight and neurotic. Over time, however, the two begin to bond, finding there’s more to each other than they could ever imagine.

but a plot where character a is a famous singer whose band is just taking off and now has to travel. character b their long-time boyfriend/girlfriend/whatever-the-hell isn't famous, and they have to deal with what it's like being apart and not having time to see each other a lot and worrying about cheating and lying and where the relationship is headed and if it's worth the pain that they're putting themselves through i'm giving myself feels goodbye

i want a plot where character a and character b are childhood sweethearts and get engaged in high school. they plan to get married after graduation. character a gets cold feet and leaves character b a voicemail on her cell phone the day of the wedding saying that he "just can't do it and i'm sorry". He runs away, leaves town, and never explains why he did what he did. what neither of them knew at the time is that character b was pregnant. character b tries to contact character a, but he won't answer her calls. four years later, he comes back to town to find character b with a three-year-old child, a new boyfriend, and he doesn't suspect that the child is his. cue the angst. bam.

sigh what about an au where finn is in the army and isn't killed but taken as a prisoner of war. he was assumed dead, so rachel and everyone else is left to mourn. a year later, he's found, rescued, and taken home where he goes through treatment for ptsd for several years. released from rehab, and feeling like a new man, finn shows up at rachel's door.

forever craving a finchel 1x1 based on silver lining's playbook where finn is an ex-soldier/fireman/policeman who has severe ptsd and rachel is a struggling music teacher who moved back in with her dads after her husband died in a car accident where she survived (maybe she lost a baby too??? idk), causing her to fall into a depression that wouldn't allow her to continue her broadway career. they meet, and they fight, but they understand each other's struggle. it's hard, but they love each other, and the angst/fluff/amazing would just be so good i'm giving myself feels can we not do this rn
