[Finn knocked on Kurt’s door and gave his mom’s boyfriend’s son a hug. A bro hug between brothers from another mothers. Or he guess in Kurt’s case, another…plant mom…Finn stopped thinking about it before it got him a damn headache, and patted Kurt on the back.
“I got your back, bro. Even if my mom and your dad break up, we won’t break up. Cuz we’re not datin’ but also cuz we’re bros now. That’s it. I’ll always support you dude. Specially when it comes to fuckers like that Fucks guy. I'mma kick his ass. Or, we can kick his ass together cuz I know you can fight. I’m fucking hyped that the dude’s gonna get his ass handed to him in jail. You did it, bro. I’m proud of ya.”
Finn released Kurt from the hug and lightly punched Kurt’s shoulder, giving his friend a real smile.]
[They didn’t win the verdict they wanted. Kurt was so cold when the jury laid down the punishments and the Judge confirmed it. Was it terrible of Kurt to have wanted more? I want that abuser of his power to be stripped of his power to abuse. Is that wrong? Kurt ground his teeth into what he thought was going to be fine powder until Fuchs was escorted out of the room. It was hard to remember what happened how Kurt got back to campus. That was Kurt’s fault, he supposed. Sometimes he didn’t pay attention on purpose, because he thought he was better than noticing everything.
Kurt sighed, he stayed at Blaine’s dorm that afternoon, sadly having to go when curfew arrived. Blaine asked if Kurt wanted him to follow and stay but Kurt declined. He didn’t want Blaine to see him pulling up a training dummy and beating it into smithereens.
Late at night, Kurt heard the knock at the door. Is that Blaine? I should clean up this place, he’s going to think that I was attacked… when it was actually me. The door knocked again and Kurt did a rush job on cleaning up.
“Coming!” Kurt said and opened the door. He received a hug, but it’s not from the person he expected. Finn was the giver and Kurt was surprised to see the tall boy. He didn’t want to cry again. However Finn’s words, as clumsy as they were, touched Kurt’s heart. He teared up a little at Finn’s purely supportive gesture. Kurt actually felt included… and equal. Just another guy, not a changeling, not a victimized gay guy, he was another person.
“Yes, Finn. We’ll kick his ass together.” Kurt released from the hug and wiped at his eyes. I’ll never date you Finn Hudson, because then we’ll never break up.]
