Post #1: Respiratory protection for doll customizers This thread is based on the information given in the What you need to know about respiratory protection! thread on Den of Angels. The original thread over on DOA was created and is maintained by a member named Tekenduis, who is a Certified Respiratory Protection Tester/Trainer with extensive training in respiratory protection. So I’ve started customizing dolls and bought some Mr Super Clear. It’s some serious stuff!!
Another good tutorial. I know we’ve all seen a billion “how to draw an eye” tutorials kicking around, but this one stands out to me by focusing on the three-dimensional shapes of the socket, lids, and cornea, which I find really helpful for different angles.
This video is pretty great because it touches on some things I don’t see covered often, like the shape of the jaw at different angles and the roundness of the mouth and eyes coming out from the plane of the face. The head tilting demos are especially good -- I don’t know what else to call them, just watch it.
