July 29, 1719 - Ask to see the Kidney Stone this one Tradesman passed!
No. 29. A certain Tradesman dwelling in the Minories, who for a long time had been sorely afflicted with the Stone, having made use of various Medicines, but not finding Relief, at last apply’d himself to Mr John Moore, Apothecary at the Pestle and Mortar in Abchurch Lane, by the Use of whose Medicine he lately voided a Stone of the bigness of a Date Stone since which he has been very easy, and tho’ the Person is not free to have his Name made publick, yet any one may be directed by Mr Moore to him to be satisfied of the Truth hereof, and have a sight of the Stone.
