The paint-splattered, ever-evolving street art monster known as TRA has popped up at @artolution collaborative art-making programs around the globe including the Rohingya Refugee Camp on the border of Myanmar in Southern Bangladesh. TRA's creator, Dr Max Frieder, co-founder/director of @artolution, originally formed and performed TRA during BIG NAZO LAB's "RISD Creature-Creation Class" nine years ago. Seven days ago, Max's Doctoral Dissertation, "The Rohingya Artolution: Teaching Locally Led Community-based Public Art Educators in the Largest Refugee Camp in History" was published by @teacherscollegepress @columbia. Congratulations to Max and the Artolution team of collaborators and local artists who 'strengthen communities through the power of art"! @rohingya_artolution @maxfrieder #refugeecampart #communitybasedpublicart #tra #artmonster #creaturecreation #risd #risdcreaturecreation #bignazolab #bignazo #creaturedesign https://www.instagram.com/p/CDnO33-nmK1/?igshid=1nx7200k2yr9i
