Neal loved to piss Regina off. It was the highlight of his day most days. He didn’t know why, but there was something about setting her off that just made his day better. Sometimes it would be a prank here or there, sometimes just a comment, but whatever it was, he lived to be a pain in the ass. “Good morning, Madam Mayor. Or is it Your Majesty. What title are you using these days?”

This wouldn’t be the first time he’d found himself in an unfamiliar time and place. Steve wasn’t really as concerned with the fact that he was in a strange place, as he was with the fact that he had no idea how he’d gotten there. He and the other Avengers had been in mid-battle. Natasha and Clint had tag teamed one of the goons, while he’d taken a defensive position. He’d heard an explosion, and then he heard Tony, Natasha and Wanda calling out for him. Then, he’d woken up in the woods here. He still didn’t know where here was. So, he’d hiked a bit into town and found a little diner. He was sure to attract attention, being he was still currently in his Captain America uniform.
