I have a reason to try and revive this blog that I completely forgot about. From this day forth all blog posts will be focused towards the project displayed in this video. I have been coding with pure data for the past few years which is a machine coding platform for electronic instruments. I have built a library of “externals“ which are small bits of code that allow faster development of patches. Without being to long winded I used the library Clear Essentials to build what you see in the video. Clear Essentials CE is a collection of patches written by Reg Finley. These are not meant to re-invent the wheel There are many other robust libraries available that provide solutions that do not need to be repeated. CE primary focus will be to provide a bit more of a graphical interface with customizable options to get closer to that end result. While most patches contained in this external library will be more gui intensive (mainly pd vanilla) with the exception of a few objects. The option to hide the gui will be available in the case of the patch being used on a headless device. https://github.com/RetroMaximus/ClearEssentials/releases License details provided at the link above. The next blog post will give a brief history of how this project started and future plans.
