REHANE: Rehane, known for her mélange of modern Indian sensibilities with a strong sense of European haute couture and ready-to-wear fashion, presented a vibrant prêt line for Autumn Winter 2012.

Marrying frolic and verve to a strong military inspiration, the color palette saw khakis, olives, and tans with an injection of bright vermilion. The silhouettes were clean, comprising mostly dresses varying from short ones with pleated attached skirts, to paneled knee length dresses and maxi A-line ones. Printed and embroidered yokes, contrast piping, pleating and shearing were the main techniques used. Military hats in olive decorated with patched motifs in vermilion, embossed gold printing, stars and braided ropes justified the theme to perfection.
