Kitchen Experiments
Sister (Calling out from kitchen): "Can you come and deal with these passion fruit, please?"
Me: "Oh, but I'm experimenting on them."
Father: "You should experiment with them somewhere else. Somewhere it doesn't offend your sister."
Me: "But they're food, where else am I suppose to experiment on food?"
Father: "In a laboratory."
Me (disheartened & exasperated): "But I don't have a laboratory!"
