no because ... he's always been called tiny or a pipe cleaner or whatever and yet now he's got his top off and he's holding what he personally thinks may be the tiniest being in the whole entire world and he feels absolutely ginormous
he's got her tucked under his arm, voice all earnest and cracking, a little tear sliding down his cheek as he says, "hi. i'm your dad. i love you more than anything in the whole entire world," and he sniffles, voice wavering, "you're the most special girl in the world. you have the bravest most amazing mother, and we're going to have such a good life together. we're going to play in the park and we can have tea parties or play with trucks or whatever you want. anything you want. i'll read you a million bedtime stories."
and he's just 🥲🥲🥲 the whole time. so in love with this tiny person and you know he starts sniffling so hard when she reaches for his pinky with her entire tiny fist that his wife very very gently has to be like "spencer please you're going to make her cry if you cry like that" and he's just sniffling like ... but pinky ... she is holding ... my pinky 🥲
