Antauri being an utter dork when he wants to is one of my favorite quirks of his character
I've been rewatching the show with a friend, while I've been writing ReIgnition and getting into Antauri's head has been... interesting to say the least. Mainly, because he's so serious and while he lets loose sometimes, we rarely see him be a gremlin...
And then season 3 happen and we regularly get Antauri making goofy faces, or being not so serious at all.
He's got a fun loving side, but we see it a lot more now. I like to think, becoming the silver monkey, he realized life's too short to keep being the way he used to be. Mr. "Video games are a waste of time", now regularly plays with his teammates, being goofy and getting into shenanigans of his own.
"Oh that's a nice visor" He even likes goofy little tchotchkes
ESPECIALLY THIS.
While in season 1 and 2 he had his moments of being goofy or getting into the shenanigans, rarely did we see him so... open about the silly things he enjoys at all. He's a lot more relaxed, he's less inclined to keep things close to himself.
Season 3 and 4, we see more of his goofy side and frankly, I freaking love it. It really does feel like, he had an epiphany when he came back with a new body, that he was given a precious gift and he should cherish it.
