I may have made a mistake in Tomodachi Life but at this point I'm in too deep to care.

So I'm not exactly one for fankids, but I got morbidly curious when given the prompt in-game for Avak and Reidak to have a kid.

I named her Zeroka and immediately got far too attached.

She is now my pride and joy, so here she is in Skakdi glory.

How did Avak and Reidak obtain Zeroka? No idea yet! She's just too cute for me to resist!

So uh. I took a nap and had The Dream.

I grab Avak's canister off the shelf, pop open the bad boy, and inside I see both him and Reidak. They looked just like how I draw them, and were embracing each other so sweetly.

Just looking up at me like bugs when you lift up a rock.

MALFUNCTION

Soooo I've once again been hit with hype for the upcoming Piraka dating sim, Hateship.

While listening to the (likely placeholder) title theme, I was struck with this very vivid mental image of the possible dynamic between the game's versions of Avak and Reidak.

Being me, I couldn't resist, bringing it to life while trying to emulate @gritrook’s style. Had a lot of fun!

Skakdi Being Weird About Affection (Again)

I subscribe to the Bionicle Revised school of "Love isn't Canon", which means that while the feeling of love is experienced, there's no word in MU languages to describe it.

It makes a lot of sense, considering that the Great Beings didn't anticipate everyone gaining sentience (thanks Velika), so just...didn't add romantic-related stuff to the word-bank, so to speak.

Adds a lot of very interesting pain to pining for someone, having all these feelings and having quite literally nothing to properly describe it. Friend is too casual, brother/sister isn't quite right, and other names and titles are too situational. Like oughh it's so good.

Yes this will be addressed in MGST but it wont be for a while
