✭ @ steven!
Stevie is smarter than the lets on, it's just that playing dumb and letting other people take the lead has usually turned out in his favor anyway. It usually only comes out when he's playing a strategy game or when shit hits the proverbial fan.
[ please imagine hearing this blasting from the windows of a tiny Kree skiprunner as Stevie fuckin shreds through the atmosphere ]
⌨✎ & ✪ @ stevie
⌨ - time-wasting habits
Stevie has a few favorites -- if it's a nice day, he's outside in shorts, either just sunbathing (charging his batteries!), swimming, or he'll head somewhere really nice and surf. On crappy days he likes to watch terrible movies or play video games. He doesn't like war games though, he tends toward things like survival-builders or spacefarers (EVE Online or No Man's Sky, for example) because he can detach from the training. He usually prefers spending time with people as opposed to alone, too.
✎ - taste in music/literature
Someone had a very clear influence on Stevie's music tastes, and it wasn't his parents... his commanding officer was none other than Noh-Varr, and the man tended to put on Terran music and encourage the recruits to dance to blow off steam. 60s girl-groups, 70s protest music, 80s synth-pop... he also greatly enjoys concept albums by the likes of Rick Wakeman and the Moody Blues. Good to put in his earbuds as he's flying.
As for literature, he doesn't read much. He's never really found satisfaction in sitting still staring at words -- he prefers more engaging media like movies or video games. That said, when he was little his favorite bedtime book was Treasure Island.
✪ - favourite food/eating habits
Stevie can eat absolute garbage. Literally. His body processes nutrition far more efficiently than a baseline human's, so he can subsist on basically anything -- not to the extent of someone with cockroach DNA of course, but close. He's gone months on nothing but flavorless nutrient paste while in training. On Earth he'll grab whatever is available, eat leftovers nobody wants, try anything once. The others might be afraid to try Stella's cooking, but Stevie isn't. Also -- alcohol doesn't touch him, unless it's Asgardian. So if he drinks, he's only doing it for the flavor, since the intoxicants don't affect him.
In any event, his favorite meal is five or six from the hot dog stand on the end of the block the Avengers Mansion is on. Whatever that guy puts in the water is like crack to Stevie.
