Poem on heartbreak (ig: @hk.poems please follow)
I still live in the battered house we shared, reminiscing about the memories we had and hoping that your arms would cradle me late at night. People tell me to stop living in the past and move on; it's been years. But they don't understand that trying to lift you off my mind would be like trying to lift a double decker bus with my bare hands. These wounds are still fresh even though your voice has long since faded and each day that passes without you only gets a little darker. I don't know who I am anymore and I don't know what to do, other than to think of you - think of us. A part of me hates you though for making me feel so insecure. But my heart still betrays me knowing that I'll love you, even if this love will kill me. I just want you back, I just want to feel loved by you again. – hk. (هافيظه)

I don't know if I really like you anymore...
