loved this album cover so much. idk why i couldn't find a higher quality version or any other copies of it anywhere other than spotify. 

in any case, i'd never heard of this band before but a song in which manu chao is involved was recommended to me so i went for it and became smitten.

but only by this one song.

[pointless rant below]

a couple other songs are ok...

the rest i actively dislike. it's weird how much i don't like it -- i know it doesn't matter at all and that there is no rational reason for the aversion... usually, if i don't like a song i'll just skip it.

this one though, annoys me -- the guy's timbre annoys me. and apparently it annoys me enough to want to write it down and remember how much it bothered me.

just, because.

Remanecer

He vagado toda una vida, perdido en la bruma sin rumbo, sin identidad, sin conocer mi esencia, en la penumbra sin claridad, como la niebla, un ente errante sin destino, viajando inconsciente por caminos inciertos.

Sobre el lienzo de mi alma quebrantada y dispersa, una guía emerge, recogiendo las esquirlas , con manos sabias, ensamblándolas con ternura, reconstruyendo mi ser, pieza por pieza.

La neblina se disipa, como sombras que huyen, mi alma revive, resurge mi memoria y danza, al fin, percibo mi ser, como una melodía en calma, siento mis pies firmes en la tierra, raíces que se alzan, y mis ojos despiertan, cautivados por el infinito horizonte.

Tal vez es hora de empezar a caminar, bajo la luz recién vislumbrada, crear con cada paso un nuevo verso.
