I shopped around and received the most professional, knowledgeable, and interactive service from experienced riders and racers at Santiago Cycling. My engagement: 1. Visit to store and welcomed by staff 2. Introduced to Trek financing and applied for 3k 3. Approved 5 days later by Trek and started researching Trek models online 4. Shopped around and visited Trek Card accepting dealers for pricing 5. Returned to Santiago Cycling. They MATCHED the LOWEST PRICE I got! I was fitted for the correct size bike (physically, not by guessing) and we ordered my Fuel EX 7 29! 6. Got cost on a rental Remedy 8 for a week camping trip which they would deduct from purchase price. 7. Bike arrived before vacation trip! No more need for a rental! Used Trek Card for purchasing mountain bike, bike tubes, bike stand, bike night lamp and rear light, and additional bike gear which I got for 10% off being it was my first purchase! 8. Headed to Yosemite for camping, then Mammoth Mountain for bike park riding lessons which we received from Jeff, a professional level downhill racer. 9. Raced the Village Championship Downhill Series that afternoon on a single diamond course(Shotgun). Rode double black diamond trails the rest of the Vacation and the Fuel Ex 7 29 performed great! 10. Returned to ORange County, locked the adjustable suspension, and raced XC in Over The Hump. 11. Went back to Santiago Cycling for a flat fix and free stretched cable adjustment! The adjustable Fox suspension (adjustable/lockout) was more than adequate for my riding level. This bike will be hard to outgrow. 130mm of travel set up correctly, while using proper form, will get you through double blacks with ease! Oh! And the dropper post seat makes going from climbing to downhill a breeze! No more stopping to lower and higher the seat! Save your sprockets and chains from shifting while standing!
